TEDxYouth@Adelaide is an extension of TEDxAdelaide focused for young people aged 12-26. It's part of a series of TEDx events happening all around the world to celebrate Universal Children’s Day. These events are designed to empower and inspire young people.
The global theme for TEDxYouthDay 2011 is Play, Learn, Build & Share and in Adelaide we've chosen to focus on Share. The program features videos from TEDxAdelaide and TED.com, plus live activities on topics about science, arts, technology and community.
TEDxYouth@Adelaide is a free event to be held at the Science Exchange on Saturday 19th November from 2pm – 6pm.
Alternatively young people can take the videos within the program to deliver a TEDxYouth@Adelaide in their own local venue - at their school, community group, library or in their loungeroom! Be part of the global community sharing ideas on the day.
